First term of second year and we’re starting branding which i’m looking forward to as branding is what i’ve done the least of.
From our first class get together after the summer i’ve learnt some of the basics that are essential for me to know at this stage. So.. a brand is more than a logo! It consists of logos, marks, corporate identities, signatures, monograms, symbols, trademarks, visual identities, logotypes and icons amongst others. Branding is also about promotion, personality and stamping a product. This shows consistency and quality which therefore makes it easier for the consumers to identify products and make them regular buyers (it ensures brand loyalty).
